‘REAL-LIFE’ ENGAGEMENT PHOTOSHOOT

This couple from Cebu City decided to break away from the typical engagement photoshoot concepts and decided to portray the “married life.”

Because the concept was so casual, newlyweds Paul Ernest and Angelie Jean did not spend a lot of money for fancy props or venue rental.

The shoot happened in the house of the groom while the other venues are just free of charge.

The couple was captured cooking and washing clothes.

“We wanted pure fun and candid that we can fondly remember,” Angelie said.

She added that the concept was her husband’s idea but they did not expect it would go viral.

As of writing, their photos have garnered more than 3,000 reactions.

“It was never an intention to impress anyone. It was a fun thing that my husband decided months after the engagement,” she said.

Photographer Gail Geriane said she was very excited about the shoot because it was something different from the prenups she usually does.

“The shoot was fun. and the couple was really easy to work with. We had our friends with us which made the shoot extra fun,” Geriane said.
