The terminal, which was launched last 29 January as part of Nieto's 13 projects for this year, is located along Parola in Barangay San Roque and can accomodate thousands of passengers per day.
"The passenger terminal that we launched just recently was meant to organize yung pagbaba at pagsakay ng mga pasahero at maging convenient para sa mananakay yung lugar kung saan sila baba at sasakay," Nieto said in an interview.
"We organized it in such a way at nagulat sila dahil napakaayos at napakaganda ng naging kinalabasan ng terminal natin, and people we're very happy about it," the mayor added.
According to him, the passenger terminal has lessened and eased the flow of traffic along the area and it put some order and discipline to prople who avail of that.
"Nandun na rin yung mga UV express vehicles and we just allowed them to line up para mas maging madali para sa mga pasahero natin who work outside of Cainta," he said.
Aside from hundreds of tricycles and jeepneys, the terminal has also a provision (two lines) for UV express units plying Ayala and EDSA Shaw.
